Caterpillar Class - week beginning 10.07.17

This week's learning activities have been themed around Teddy Bears in preparation for our Teddy Bears Picnic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Teddy's Bear Picnic.
We paraded our teddies.

We had a party snack - we think our teddies enjoyed the food too!

We enjoyed the party games!

We have continued with transition activities to prepare us for our Year One class.

We did whole class guided reading. Two groups read with an adult, whilst the rest of the class read books independently in the Reading Corner or completed reading and phonics based tasks. We had to listen carefully to instructions so we knew what tasks we had to do.

We did whole class writing and wrote information about ourselves to pass onto our new teacher. We all worked really well, staying in our seats and trying our best with our writing.
